For most of my working life I’ve had jobs that required me to work weekends. A few months ago I got a Monday-Friday job and having weekends off was really weird at first. I didn’t know what to do with myself- aren’t Sunday’s supposed to be spent all day in bed hungover?
For the longest time the first thing I’ve done when I wake up is check my phone. See who’s texted me, check my emails, look at social media, see which of my friends’ life updates I’ve missed whilst I slept… Then I eat breakfast whilst watching TV or checking my phone again.
